25+ Years of Doing This Myself

I've spent over 25 years building websites and running marketing campaigns for businesses right here in Oklahoma -- long enough to have watched the internet itself go through several complete reinventions, from the earliest days of static HTML sites through the SEO gold rush, the rise of social media marketing, and now the shift toward AI-driven search. Through all of it, the fundamentals haven't changed: build something real, make it easy to find, and give people a straight answer when they ask a question.

That's the whole philosophy behind Internet Happens. I'm not a call center reading from a script, and I'm not an account manager relaying your request to someone else who actually does the work. When you work with me, you're working directly with the person who's going to build your site, write your SEO strategy, and answer the phone when you call.

I'm based in Tulsa -- born and raised here -- with additional reach into Norman and across the state of Oklahoma. I've built a trusted network of specialist freelancers I bring in for larger projects, but the strategy, the client relationship, and the accountability stay with me from the first conversation to launch day and beyond.

Outside of client work, I've spent years playing music around Tulsa -- and honestly, some of the best lessons I've learned about building an audience, staying consistent, and putting in real practice before it pays off came from a stage, not a spreadsheet.
